Blueprint

Templates

The fields used to describe, challenge and ratify Stewards and Core Jobs. Exactly as the model sets them out.

Both templates contain only what is filled in per Steward or per Core Job. The system rules are stated once in the concept and are not repeated. Start with the purpose, then the outcomes, then the responsibility and the decisions. The rest follows from the work.

Steward template

Filled in once per letter. It describes design; execution always sits with Core Jobs or Joblets.

FieldWhat it is for
HeaderSteward, FLAIMS letter, staffing, effort as a percentage range.
PurposeWhy this Steward exists, in two or three sentences: what the letter enables for the company and what the Steward holds the frame for.
OutcomeThree to five results, phrased as a state, not as an activity.
FieldsThe content spaces of the letter. A field is not a job; it exists even when nobody is working on it yet. Fields are fixed to the letter.
Design and executionPer field the boundary: what the Steward designs, where the execution sits.
Powers at design levelGuardrails, veto, anchor cut; plus letter-specific powers, if there are any.
Drift protectionHow you can tell this Steward is tipping: the typical failure mode and the boundary they never cross.
CompetenciesThe capability the role needs. Learnable and demonstrable, three to five with one sentence each.
StrengthsThe natural strengths that make the role easy for a person. Disposition, not learned knowledge.
Proposed Anchor Core JobsThe recommended anchor structure of the letter. Freely cuttable, following the logic of the letter, never across letters.
ValidityValid from, next review, reference to the system rules in the steward concept.

Core Job template

Filled in once per Core Job. It describes what the job answers for.

FieldWhat it is for
HeaderCore Job name, letter, assigned Anchor Core Job, and whether this job is an anchor itself.
PurposeWhy does this job exist and why is it important? One or two sentences.
OutcomesWhat reliably comes about when the job is done well, named concretely.
ResponsibilitiesThe recurring fields of action, numbered. Every Joblet pays into at least one.
Joblets and interfacesJoblets with holder and the responsibility they pay into. Interfaces to other Core Jobs: delivers, receives, to be clarified.
Decision competenceStone decisions of the job and the competence that has to be at Mastery level for them. Feather everyone decides themselves.
Impact measurementJob metrics for the job as a whole, person metrics for the individual person, each with target, cadence and purpose: steering or trend signal.
Deployment rangeThe range within which the job can be staffed per person, for example 50 to 100 per cent.
StaffingWho holds the job, with what share, and who is owner. If only one person holds the job, they are owner.
Ideal profileCompetencies and strengths a person ideally brings, described across the board.
ValidityCreated by, ratified by S, noted by the Anchor Core Job, valid from, next review.
